I noticed that am leaking fluid from a boot. I feel at 255,000 miles, maybe the steering rack needs a change. I looked up what components I needed for the front and here is what I ordered:
Rack Doctor steering rack with inner tie rods.
ACDelco Outer tie rods.
I figure mind as well change those out. Next order will be for the End links.

After looking at Original Toyota parts ranging from $300-$400, I found a business that sells re-manufactured Original Toyota steering rack and pinion for $285. Once replaced, send the old one back and get $75 core refund.
The business is called Rack Doctor -

DEEZA Part #
After
some research, I have decided to go wit Deeza because they are made and
connected to Turkey and Germany. Looking at various forums and people
posting, the End links seem to be stronger.
Why wheel bearings? (From http://www.teoc.ws/community/topic/51237-1995-previa-tcr10-egg-build/)
"everything was all good, until my friend and i set off for the 300 mile trip home.
on the way to the festival i noticed a low grinding noise and i didn't think much of it...
176 miles into our trip back the noise is way louder and there is now an intermittent high pitched squeal. I pull over and i can see the rear left side brake drum cover smoking. at this point, I decide to call AAA and have the van towed to the nearest mechanic in my town. Unfortunately my AAA membership only covers 100 miles of towing, and you must pay $5 a mile after that... $120.
I decided to take a chance and see if I can limp the van another 24 miles down the road... what a terrible idea that was. 7 miles later, at 55mph the left rear wheel and axle half came off of the vehicle. As the wheel came out of the wheel well, the axle shaft made contact with the quarter panel and door handle. It then bounced at least fifteen feet in the air and accelerated in front of the van in the lane next to me, bouncing again and landing in the median between the road. Luckily, no other cars were beside me and I was able to keep the van controlled and came to a full stop on the shoulder, scraping the lower control arm."
What I am unsure of is where the front wheel bearings are located. I want to say they are in the end of the above cv axle shaft, but even when I search for the front hub, all I get is bearings themselves.
Why wheel bearings? I've seen a couple stories of the bearings going out and wheel flying off and the vehicle crashing. Being that these are older vans, I would feel better that the bearings are taken cared of.
I will try and find more information, but I want to find where the bearing is housed and change them out for fresh Koyo bearings.
For the front, it is about $60 each/ $120 for the pair.

The back is a bit more tricky, since the rear end is one big piece and from what I've seen and heard, they are can be pain to get off the rear axle!
For the rear it is a kit, @ $81.50 each, $162 for both. Each bearing has a retainer (smaller ring).
