Alright, just a quick update.
1. I had to fix my front end, slight bump. I was behind a car at an off ramp, we were both turning left. It was green for us and we started go to, then some jackass decided to run the red light and the person infront of me slammed on her brakes and subsequently so did I.
We were not going to fast and my van took the brunt of the damage.
Totally sucked, but it was a great learning process taking apart the front and putting on the new components.
Video is on youtube, but will make a post on it.

2. Been busy with school. I finally graduated SFSU with my Bachelor's degree in Health Education at the end of May. The 4th sequenced class was an internship, so on top of working full time, having family, I had to source up someone with a MPH (Masters in Public Health) to sign off on my 20hrs a a week. I had a fractured internship and worked with a few non-profits and food justice groups. Part of it was also mentoring people into the medical field. 2 my of interns also graduated high school (the mentorship program is aimed at marginalized students and helping them overcome barriers due to their socio economic status to enter the medical field.
3. Full time work and family keeps me busy.
4. I have been going to the junkyards and if I don't see anything for the Previa, I look at cars and ask folks on facebook if they what is worth getting and selling. Of course, people hit me to get parts for them and it's been kind of a side business.
5. I have been working on my other blog, iheartjapanesecars.blogspot.com. It is a side project that I started in 2001, but my old geocities page went down before I could get the info off of it.
Basically, its just me appreciating cars.
6. Kinda unknown, but from August 2015 to January 2016, I lived in the Previa as I wanted to experience the van dwelling life. It's complicated, but my wife quit her job to take care of our boys, but stayed in Vancouver BC and help her sister (who was in a pharmacy tech program) by watching our nephew. I also didn't like the rise in my rent to pay $2300 for a small 1 bedroom. So I took this time to save money and experience stealth camping and missing my family and travelling/exploring Vancouver BC when I visited them. Now they are back in California with me.
