Toyota Previa front end disassemebly.

This was something that I wanted to go through, but was forced to on my end. I was behind someone at an off ramp turning left. It was green and the lady infront of me started to go, so I started to go. Then this guy blew ran his red light and almost slammed into the lady in front of me had she not slammed on her brakes. Subsequently, I slammed on my brakes and bumper her. SUCKED. We caught up with the guy down the street and I confronted him. I almost punched his dumb ass. Anyways, I was forced to hit the junkyard for parts. It is a process to get to the middle piece under the headlights and above the bumper. So this was step by step deal and took me a couple hours. https://youtu.be/pC0LhZLk3pE?list=PL5q_8kLVTuqLa8ICIVQa1E_sfirAHnz0y I put the everything back together. The front headlight that was affected is about 2mm pushed back. Once I get in my autobody class in the fall, I'll probably put in on the frame straightener and pull it.

Rear wiper arm removal

So I don't know how it got bent, but my rear wiper arm was tweaked. I believe it happened after I did a drive through wash. I tried to bend it back, but it didn't work. While at the junkyard, I thought you had to take it apart from the inside of the trunk, so I searched really quick. Nothing. Then I realized there is a cap and bent that back and 1 10mm nut and its free.

I GOT AN ICE MAKER (BOX)!!!!!

I've been coming to Vancouver BC very often due to my family living here. I always search for things to do and I found Bridal Veil Falls in Chilliwack This was in 2015. On the way there, I saw a Pick a Part DIY junkyard on the way. I always told myself I would check it out and Today was that day (June 12, 2016) I went there just to check things out. I didn't have any tools and wasn't expecting much. If I saw a Mazda mx-6 digital gauge cluster, I would have bought it. After search the cars and finding nothing, I decided to look at the vans. I came upon a blue 91 previa (didn't know it was AWD too) and when I looked inside.... ICE MAKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now let me say this. I didn't have tools, I wasn't expecting to buy anything, I didn't have much time.. Well, after I saw the Ice maker, I went to the nearest store  (Canadian Superstore) and bought what was available, which was a half ass tool set! I immediately got to work on th...

Sorry been Busy - 6/12/2016

Alright, just a quick update. 1 . I had to fix my front end, slight bump. I was behind a car at an off ramp, we were both turning left. It was green for us and we started go to, then some jackass decided to run the red light and the person infront of me slammed on her brakes and subsequently so did I. We were not going to fast and my van took the brunt of the damage. Totally sucked, but it was a great learning process taking apart the front and putting on the new components. Video is on youtube, but will make a post on it. --------------------------------------------------------- 2 . Been busy with school. I finally graduated SFSU with my Bachelor's degree in Health Education at the end of May. The 4th sequenced class was an internship, so on top of working full time, having family, I had to source up someone with a MPH (Masters in Public Health) to sign off on my 20hrs a a week. I had a fractured internship and worked with a few non-profits and food justice groups. Par...

Rear Diff Seal

This info is credited to cmh1129 on toyotanation.com http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/85...-pictures.html -------------------------------------------------------------- The rear diff input seal is the one that goes bad 98% 0f the time. Causing the oil to leak out and the Differential to run dry. Please People, check this every time you change your Motor Oil . It only takes a second to look at it, and will save you money and a huge headache later ... these pictures are from a guy's van that was brought to me off a Craigslist ad I had posted about some Previa parts . He needed a new rear bumper. While he was here, I quickly glanced under the van and noticed that his rear Diff seal was leaking.. as well as his Valve cover gasket and distributor shaft O ring . We got those ordered, and will get to those this weekend, but this is about the rear diff seal.. Toyota sells the seal for around $15... the genaric seal from National is part #1177 . The gentleman her...
